When I started a family, I shifted gears, carrying with me a lifetime of curiosity, purpose, and a deep appreciation for culture and connection.

Yes, we call this our Seamless Escapes service. We’ll handle your hotel booking, VIP you with our connections, and arrange dining or activities if you’d like. Even the smallest trip deserves the House of Imara touch.

Ideally, 9-12 months ahead for complex trips (safari, multi-country, bucket list moments). For shorter escapes, we can often design closer in, but the more time we have, the more creative we can get.

Our pricing includes two parts: a planning fee and the cost of the trip itself. Planning fees begin at $750 and vary depending on the complexity of your trip and which designer you’re working with. Our planning fee reflects the time, creativity, and care that goes into every journey and your planning fee will be quoted after our first call. Trip costs vary depending on destination, season, and style of travel. As a guideline, our fully personalized journeys typically start at around $1,000 per person, per day, not including international airfare.
In luxury travel, it’s standard practice not to provide itemized line-by-line pricing. It gets confusing when you’re in the weeds of every transfer, guide, or service, and it can take the focus away from the journey as a whole. Part of our role is to handle those details for you so the experience feels seamless. What we do instead is help you understand your overall investment and how to maximize your budget. We’re always transparent about value and happy to explain the general cost structure of your trip.
